Our Crew

"Da Bosses"

Bridget and Toby Wild have a passion for the outdoors and have been sharing adventures together for 30 years.

Toby has been working in the outdoors over a wide range of adventure disciplines for many years and thinks he’s the man in charge. Bridget brings a wealth of tourism experience and loves nothing more than the personal contact the industry brings, and everyone knows she is the one in charge!!

Their passion for Stand Up Paddleboarding has come for their mutual love of the ocean and their eagerness to give everyone the opportunity to get out there and enjoy the same feeling. They love nothing better than giving locals and tourists alike the chance to enjoy the water.

They are very lucky to have a great team to support them and look forward to catching up on the sand or on the water.

See you out there!!!

Paddleboarding in Nelson with Sam, our awesome paddleboarding instructor

AweSam

Our own little pocket rocket!! Sam is the driving force of day to day operations.  Sam hails from the Kapiti Coast but has made sunny Nelson home, and loves it!!.  A mad keen MT Biker, she has fallen for  the Moana, BIG time.  For Sam, it’s all about community and connection on the water, and with her background in teaching, sharing her new passion with paddlers from around the Motu and beyond.

When not at the beach, Sam can be found at the shop, or somewhere behind the scenes doing just about everything  to keep us running smoothly, including  organising the chaos that Toby inevitably leaves behind!

We are stoked (and very lucky) to have little Sam as a massive part of our team!!

SUP Surfing in Nelson New Zealand

Pauly

Our awesome SUP surfer, Paul is addicted to the waves! Since stepping on a board 6 years ago, he’s been hunting down waves to catch on his SUPs.

He is the  one to talk to about all things SUP surfing, waves and conditions. And he will happily help you in any way he can! You’ll find him on the beach with a coffee in hand, introducing people to the water or taking out first time paddlers with us. When he’s not with us, you’ll find him on his bike or in his van exploring!

Thanks Paul for all your awesome work, we love having you!

Chilling with a coffee at Paddle Town, in Nelson, New Zealand after a paddle

Jo

You might see Jo’s smiley face welcoming you for rentals, guiding or taking you out on a lesson. Or you might see her over in the shop, chatting about all things SUP.

An avid paddleboarder herself, SUP Coach and Leader, she joins us from the UK where she ran her own SUP business and loves being introducing people to the water and supporting their SUP journeys.

Loving all things paddleboarding and pushing her comfort zone – you’ll find her trying to catch waves, dabble in some white water SUP or exploring our beautiful NZ on some multi day SUP expeditions when she’s not with us.
