Our Crew

"Da Bosses"

Bridget and Toby Wild have a passion for the outdoors and have been sharing adventures together for 30 years.

Toby has been working in the outdoors over a wide range of adventure disciplines for many years and thinks he’s the man in charge. Bridget brings a wealth of tourism experience and loves nothing more than the personal contact the industry brings, and everyone knows she is the one in charge!!

Their passion for Stand Up Paddleboarding has come for their mutual love of the ocean and their eagerness to give everyone the opportunity to get out there and enjoy the same feeling. They love nothing better than giving locals and tourists alike the chance to enjoy the water.

They are very lucky to have a great team to support them and look forward to catching up on the sand or on the water.

See you out there!!!

Jo

You might see Jo’s smiley face welcoming you for rentals, running safety courses, guiding or taking you out on a lesson. Or you might see her over in the shop, chatting about all things SUP.

An avid paddleboarder herself, SUP Coach and Leader, she joins us from the UK where she ran her own SUP business and loves being introducing people to the water and supporting their SUP journeys.

Loving all things paddleboarding and pushing her comfort zone – you’ll find her trying to catch waves, dabble in some white water SUP or exploring our beautiful NZ on some multi day SUP expeditions when she’s not with us.

Em

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Em has lived all over the world before settling into the sunny rhythm of Nelson life. A true ocean lover, you’ll find her on the beach year-round — whether she’s soaking up the sun, heading out for a paddle, or just recharging by the sea.

With a background rooted in health and fitness, Em thrives on movement and community. She’s always loved getting out on the water, and now that she’s turned that passion into a career, she couldn’t be happier.

You’ll spot Em out on lessons, sharing her love for the ocean and helping others discover the joy of paddling. She’s all about connection, confidence, and creating space for people to move, laugh, and enjoy the magic of the water together.

SUP Surfing in Nelson New Zealand

Pauly

Our awesome SUP surfer, Paul is addicted to the waves! Since stepping on a board 6 years ago, he’s been hunting down waves to catch on his SUPs.

He is the  one to talk to about all things SUP surfing, waves and conditions. And he will happily help you in any way he can! You’ll find him on the beach with a coffee in hand, introducing people to the water or taking out first time paddlers with us. When he’s not with us, you’ll find him on his bike or in his van exploring!

Thanks Paul for all your awesome work, we love having you!

Rachel

When Rachel is not in the classroom teaching, you can find her out on the water paddle boarding and drinking coffee!

Rachel is our resident dawn dipper, loves the water and loves introducing you to it. She has paddleboardered for years and she’s super welcoming, patient and encouraging out on the water.

You will see her down at the beach for rentals, taking lessons or say hi to her, over in the shop.
Thanks Rachel for also keeping us all on track and keeping the shop and beach looking spick and span. You are the best!
